I probably don't have to tell you who Snoop Dogg is, well known as rapper and pimp. Got lot's of hits as 'Who I am', 'Gin & Juice' and 'Still Dre' and from his new album as Vato and 'Candy'. He even got the Snoop Dogg Father Hood tv program and his fezhizzle. With such a C.V. you don't expect Mr. Dogg to go open with this new song.......together with the 80's look a like video...... Snoop Dogg and Sensual Seduction?....sure.... You decide for yourself......... check out the making off as well. N.E.R.D.'s new album: N*R*3*D

For those who didn't know yet....it's coming up! The new album of N.E.R.D. is planned for 2008, probably named N*R*3*D. N.E.R.D. (No One Ever Really Dies) is (for those of you who have been sleeping under a stone for the last couple of years) Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo (best known as the production duo the Neptunes) and rapper Shay. I guess N.E.R.D. is one of the most genius funky-rock-bands from the last 20 years. Making music in lines of rock, rap and hip-hop and got worldwide fame with the album (one of my personal favourites) 'In Search Of...' back in 2001 and later on again in 2002, including songs as 'Lapdance', 'Brain', 'Provider', 'Tape You', 'Bobby James' and 'Rock Star'. The Neptunes are who we are and N*E*R*D is what we do. It's our life. N*E*R*D is just a basic belief, man. People's energies are made of their souls. brand New vs brand Old

Oh yes, this ' brand new' skateboard from the makers of Leuke Kunst is what I bought today. It's so supa dupa cool! Check out the beautifull painting of this forrest. Typical light green trees, some sand and a open blue sky. I love it! Nice detail is that the boards is unique....yessir! Ready to go! For sure it's not going to make me a better boarder......I can only look with open mouth to guys as Rodney Mullen (inventer of many tricks including the Ollie Impossible) and just hope to stand on my board ones, for only 5 min or longer.........Unbelievable and 30+ for sure! This morning I entered Schiphol-Airport where this unusual airplaine caught my eye. "Let them know it's Christmas time again" is what they where probably thinking at the Schiphol-Group. This fine piece of lightning in the sky is flying you probably to your special own Christmas location this year...... Made out of 100's of little lights, being beautiful up in the sky......

Mom, mom, look what I made!

Cigarettes are so done! And what's the best manner to get the attention of (smoking) moms and dads?......oke, that's true, Joe Cocker, but besides that?.......probably their children. This ad from Nicorette is reaching for moms and dads a.k.a hippies, who are still digging those cigarettes. Well this ad couldn't be more 'in your face'...... "Everything you do affects your children"!

Charlie D(ee) and Joe Cocker

Two weeks ago I visited, together with my lovely mom, a show of the one and only Joe Cocker. Born on 20 may 1944 and still rocking the stage, surrounded with grey haired paps and moms. Almost 2 hours of oldies! Wowie! My mom was enjoying it hard.....and well, I can't deny, I did so too! During the pre-show a female singer blown me away. Her name is Charlie Dee. A singer/songwriter from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Take a look at her website and enjoy her warm voice. As she says, in her music she's; "reflecting her vision on life and love"

Close to home

This weekend 'Close to Home' was playing in our local movie theatre. A movie about two total different 18-year old girls who have to work together during their conscription in Israël. An interesting film which shows the daily life of the rebellious Smadar and the introverted Mirit. While patrolling the streets of Jerusalem, the girls are trying to work together with their bumbing personalities, their problems and the feeling of fear. After all, united by tragedy, duty, compession and humanity. Nice camera work and great music.....

After telling you ealier about my experiences from last week in Berlin, I found another great piece of mind impression, shot with my cellphone, which I would like to share with you. This 'bunny' is showing some attitude.......and we appriciate it.....'You go girl' !

Berlin - lovely surprise

Last weekend I ended up in Berlin again. Was it two years ago that I visited my good friend Jill, this time I went for a fast visit to my well known Eastern Neigbour Jens , original from Munster....

Jens and I have been friends for almost 3 years, starting back in 2004 in a school project named Triple-I, an interational workout plan for motivated students..........don't ask me more about it :) My third time back in Berlin was again awesome. I love this city! A big (welcome) surprise was that Jens is living up in a beautiful old apartment in Berlin Mitte, where you can still recognize the old paintings and details on the roof and walls, even the old furniture is still there. In between lines; no one knows what happend to the old occupant....

Best thing of my visit is that we, later on that night, incidantally bounced on one of my favourite spots in Berlin.... This lovely neigbourhood in eastern Berlin is a walhalla of art in all her different ways.... For example I love this special street painting of fishes and flowers! It makes me think about the Dutch artists of 'Leuke Kunst', settled in Alkmaar, The Netherlands . However, the location of this small lane and the late night ambiance made it even more special. It makes me feel so good! Can't wait to go there again. Thanks Jens!
